some albums have appeared on the A&K in a seemingly random order (i know this happens with other players/software). also, i haven't yet worked out how to ensure that the music i am importing (even though i am not yet importing in the way i want to) appears on the A&K in the correct order/with the correct artwork etc. when i try to add direct from swinsian it appears to copy 'alias' files, which are evidently not music files and the A&K can't read them, rather than flac/wav etc.Ģ. so at the moment i am adding music to the A&K from my old itunes file saved on my desktop, but i can't use the nicely organised swinsian folder as i had intended. on my mac the A&K appears in finder, but i can only drag & drop from items on my desktop, not from eg swinsian. Furthermore, The fact that iTunes tends to color the sound and will not change the sample rate. If you are using the playback queue pane in the Swinsian app, this might have unexpected effects, but it seems to work fine if you’re in the library or a playlist.I'm new to the forum. Make sure your music library is in the Quicksilver catalog, and that’s it! You can now tell Swinsian to play a song.Ĭaveats: Since there is no direct way to play a track via applescript in Swinsian, this abuses editing the playback queue.
